Most listeners tune in on mobile data. At 128 kbps one hour of radio uses about 58 MB. Move the slider to see a listener's month.

Your music, your responsibility

You are the broadcaster. You must have the right to play everything you upload or stream. For most music that means a licence from the music rights organisation in your country. Your own shows, sermons and talk are yours to play. We host your station; we do not sell music licences. If a rights holder complains, we may have to take the audio off air. Read our terms

Questions station owners ask

How fast is setup?

We set up your station within 24 hours of payment, often sooner, and e-mail you your station dashboard login and your stream link. If you choose the radio app too, the app takes about 7 more days, plus the time Apple and Google need to review it.

Can I go live from my phone?

Yes. Install a broadcasting app such as BroadcastMySelf (Android) or iziCast (iPhone). Enter the settings from your station dashboard and tap start. When you stop, AutoDJ plays your music again. You can also go live from a computer with free software such as BUTT or Mixxx. We help you with your first live show.

What plays when I am not live?

AutoDJ. It plays your uploaded shows and music 24 hours a day, on the schedule you set. For example, Morning Prayer every weekday at 6:00 and music the rest of the day. When you go live, AutoDJ steps aside; when you stop, it starts again.

How many people can listen?

Up to 1,000 people at the same time, depending on your plan. There is no limit on how many different people listen over a month. If your station grows, you can move to a bigger plan.

Can I use my stream link elsewhere?

Yes. Your stream link is yours. Put it in your own app, on your website, on social media or in any player that plays online radio. Already have a radio app? Choose a plan without the app and put the new link in your app.

Do I need music licences?

Yes, for music you did not make. You are the broadcaster, so you must have the right to play everything on your station. Most countries have a music rights organisation that sells radio licences. Your own talk, sermons and shows need no extra licence.

What happens if a payment fails?

We try your card again over the next few days, and your station stays on air while we try. If payment still fails, your station goes off air, but we keep your audio and settings for 30 days. Pay within that time and your station comes straight back.

How do I pay?

By debit or credit card through Stripe, a secure payment company. Visa and Mastercard work. You can cancel any time from your account.
